No game can evoke as much nostalgia and excitement as Final Fantasy VII when it comes to its mini-games ever since 1997. It has left a lasting impact on all of us players. And one of the most anticipated highlights of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the Junon Parade, a memorable mini-game from the original that has been reimagined and remade with even more interactive and fun ways to play.
The Junon Parade section is divided into two parts: the first part involves gathering all 10 troops of the Seventh Infantry and earns you the trophy “7th, Assembled!” The second part is where you lead your troops in a flashy military performance in front of thousands of spectators, aiming to win an Award and Commendation presented by the newly appointed Shinra president, Rufus. Acing that performance will grant you the trophy “Stealing the Show” and rewards you with some gifts and relationship points for your accompanying characters. So, here is how you can ace and win the Junon Parade and perform a spectacular show. Remember, the more troops you gathered in the first part of this mini-game, the more option you will get including the option I am showing below.
The best formation I managed to find is 2x Riot Troopers, Flametroopers, and 2x Grenadiers. This combination will give you the Ramuh, Shiva, and Bahamut formations, all of which are 3-star difficulty. The reason for this is that the higher the difficulty, the better score you will get. You will need 100,000 positive votes at the end of your third performance to ace it and win both the award and commendation.
This doesn’t mean you have to never miss any of them. No, you can miss a few. The game is quite forgiving at this, and I don’t think it would pose too much trouble to you if you just follow the simple techniques below:
– Red Diamonds: You will just need to tap this one. As I mentioned, it is very forgiving, so scoring Great with this one just needs you to press the assigned button right before it hits or when it hits.
– Blue Diamonds: You will need to press and hold the button right before it starts until the end.
– Yellow Diamonds: You will need to repeatedly tap the assigned button fast, finishing it before the end of the line is considered Great.
You only have one shot at this, so if you feel that you are not doing as well, just press the pause button and restart it to try again. If you get the correct amount of positive votes, you will be given the Outstanding Achievement Award at the ceremony after the parade.
Getting this will give you the hidden “Stealing the Show” trophy and improve your relationship with Tifa and Aerith.
