Nagoshi Studio, the acclaimed development house spearheaded by Yakuza series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, has officially announced its next major title: GANG OF DRAGON. This new action-adventure game, deeply rooted in the gritty realism of Tokyo’s Kabukicho district, is set to launch first for PC via Steam, with developers noting that additional platforms may be announced at a later date.

Nagoshi Studio founder Toshihiro Nagoshi expressed both relief and intense commitment regarding the reveal. “I’m both relieved and deeply focused as we finally reach the day to unveil GANG OF DRAGON,” Nagoshi stated in a press release. “This project depicts, with unwavering honesty, the lives of outlaws who inhabit the real streets of Kabukicho. Through gameplay, my team and I are committed to delivering a powerful new human drama born from this world. What is shown in this teaser represents only a small part of what GANG OF DRAGON truly has in store, and we look forward to sharing much more with you in the future.”

GANG OF DRAGON immerses players in Shinjuku, Tokyo’s iconic and bustling nightlife district. The narrative centers on Shin Ji-seong, a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate, whose character is brought to life by the celebrated Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (also known as Don Lee).

The gameplay promises an intense and visceral experience centered around Shin’s overwhelming physical capabilities. Players will engage in hand-to-hand combat, while also having access to a diverse arsenal including swords, firearms, and a wide array of combat techniques. The action isn’t limited to foot traffic; the game will also feature exhilarating, high-speed car chases through the vibrant, neon-lit streets of Shinjuku.

Toshihiro Nagoshi himself is leading the game’s scenario and overall direction, ensuring the title delivers the kind of emotionally rich, character-driven storytelling he is renowned for. This new story is designed to engage players in an exciting way, utilizing incredible graphics to deliver a truly action-packed adventure within the shadowy world of Kabukicho.
