Nexon and developer Neople have revealed The First Berserker: Khazan, a single-player action RPG that is the next entry in the long-running Dungeon & Fighter universe.

The reveal trailer showcased the amazing and unique anime-esque style that Neople is pursuing, featuring a flashy hack ‘n’ slash combat.

The First Berserker: Khazan tells the story of The Pell Los Empire as it has been saved, but at a cost, After the Great General Khazan and Archmage Ozma defeat the Berserk Dragon Hismar and the Dragon Legion, players will step into the shoes of Khazan as he is falsely accused of treason and exiled beyond the empire.

In The First Berserker: Khazan, Neople emphasizes that combat holds a central role in Khazan’s pursuit of vengeance against those responsible for his downfall. This journey is characterized by intense, aggressive, and dynamically shifting styles of battle.

In order to survive, players need to excel in combat, enhance character abilities, and strategically blend distinct weapons and armor, each equipped with unique advantages. As players progress through missions, the challenges posed by bosses intensify, yet conquering them and completing missions grants access to potent gear and skills. From the trailer we can see how flashy the combat is and p
layers will have to utilise character skills, weapons, armour, perks, combos, and take-downs as they take on challenging foes and bosses.

“The First Berserker: Khazan” is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC with no release date announced yet.
