    Star Ocean The Second Story R Review Roundabout

    Star Ocean: The Second Story R is receiving generally favorable reviews, with a score of 86 on Metacritic and 86 on OpenCritic. It is a remake of the second game in the Star Ocean series and a favorite among many fans. The remake has piqued players’ and fans’ interest in how it presents a blend of modernity and retro elements while keeping the essence of the origianl game.

    RPGfan stated, ‘I can’t think of a remake of a game that feels more definitive than this one. All fans of the original deserve to play Star Ocean: The Second Story R, and so does everyone else’ giving it a score of 92/100.

    While most reviewers praised the graphical and musical aspects of the game, they also noted the difficulty spikes and clunky mechanics. Nevertheless, the general consensus is that this is a cult classic brought back to its fans in a faithfully faithful way.
