How To Find The Hiden Materials for 'Stuck in a Rut' in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

If you are trying to finish the quest ‘Stuck in a Rut’ in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, where you will get the Grey Chocobo as a perk of its progress, you will be asked midway through your progress to gather materials for the wainwright by being given a simple treasure-hunt-like piece of paper. It will ask you to go fetch them using your chocobo. To make it easier for you, here are the locations you need to search to find these materials.

Your first course of action is to fast travel to the chocobo ranch, as the first one is just a little bit to the north of it. Facing the ranch owner, just exit through the gate behind him to the north. It is not far further, until you notice a red question mark over your chocobo’s head, where you can start to smell the scent of the treasure.

The next one will be further northeast, just outside the skirts of Junon where things are a bit darker and there are few monsters around. You will hardly miss this one because your chocobo will warn you of its proximity when you are roaming the area.

The last one is the tricky one. It doesn’t necessarily look like its position on the map, but the big hint is the crane picture. To the east of the previous item, head east on the map towards the arena-like building, which is what this crane picture represents. Once you are there, you will be triggered by the monsters. Take that as a hint you are in the right place. Finish off these monsters, and you will get access to the last material on the list.
