It is hard to believe, but our journey to Zanarkand is officially a quarter of a century old. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X, Square Enix has launched a dedicated commemorative website, kicking off the festivities with a gorgeous new piece of official artwork featuring Tidus and Yuna.
While the new illustration is a stunning nostalgic trip for longtime fans, the anniversary website makes one thing very clear: Square Enix is going all out on physical media and merchandise this year. As we gear up for the official anniversary date on July 19, 2026, here is a breakdown of everything announced so far.
For collectors of high-end physical media, this is the crown jewel of the anniversary lineup. Launching on July 1, the FINAL FANTASY X LP Vinyl Set -Eternal Calm- features 20 carefully selected tracks from the legendary original score.
The presentation here is top-tier. Pressed on beautiful translucent blue “waterside” records, the two-LP set is housed in a sleeve showcasing brand-new commemorative artwork drawn by Tetsuya Nomura. For audiophiles looking to test their high-end sound systems, this is a must-own piece that perfectly captures the acoustic magic of Spira.
Alongside the vinyl, Square Enix is also dropping a CD album exclusively containing multiple renditions of the iconic track “To Zanarkand,” as well as a House Grooves arrangement album slated for later in the summer.
If your shelf space isn’t already dominated by steelbooks and gaming hardware, the anniversary drop features plenty of new additions:
The Eternal Spira Art Book: Square Enix is releasing a newly produced Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book -Eternal Spira-. This volume will prominently feature Tetsuya Nomura’s unique illustrations originally created for the acclaimed 2023 FFX Kabuki stage play.
The Memorial Album HD Remaster: A high-definition reprint of the original 2002 Final Fantasy X Memorial Album, giving fans a sharper look at the game’s classic developmental art and lore.
The Party, in Plush Form: An entirely new lineup of chibi-style plushies is hitting the Square Enix store, featuring the entire main cast. Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, Auron, Kimahri, Rikku, and even Jecht are getting the plush treatment.
