How to Solve the 'Curse of the Gi' Queen's Blood Puzzle in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

If you’ve been addicted to Queen’s Blood in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, like the vast majority of us Final Fantasy fans, I’m sure you’ve tried the mind-boggling puzzle-like setting of the Card Carnival.

When you visit Costa Del Sol, you’ll be introduced to a very interesting twist and turn in the flammable card game, where you have to solve a puzzle to accumulate numbers higher than the preset numbers already placed on the board by giving you a limited hand of cards to play with. These puzzles are mostly easy, but one in particular took me no less than 15 tries to figure out, and it is ‘Curse of the Gi’.

The ‘Curse of the Gi’ is the hardest Card Carnival puzzle, ranked 8, which is the highest of all the presented puzzles. It requires very calculated moves to maximize one card, Jadderwock, before using the Gi card to distribute the points you accumulated to other cards (which really makes the Gi card a very fearsome card).

So, here is how you solve the ‘Curse of the Gi’ puzzle:

STEP 1: Place 'Sandhog Pie' on the middle left spot to ensure it buffs Jadderwock.

STEP 2: Place 'Desert Sahagin' on the top right spot to ensure it buffs Jadderwock as well.

STEP 3: Place 'Jadderwock' on the middle right spot to debuff the other cards and take its own.

STEP 4: Place the 'Crystalline Crab' on the bottom right spot to further buff Jadderwock.

STEP 5: Place the 'Riot Trooper' on the bottom left to strategically buff Jadderwock even more.

STEP 6: Replace the 'Riot Trooper' with the 'Griffon' to give Jadderwock 3 more points.

STEP 7: Finish it all up by replacing the buffed Jadderwock with Gi Nattaka for a smackdown.

And congratulations, you will have two rows of 20 that will grant you the majority in this puzzle.
