In a rare and welcome twist for a game that has seen its fair-share of delays, Capcom has announced that PRAGMATA is actually arriving earlier than expected. The sci-fi action-adventure title, which has been one of Capcom’s most mysterious upcoming projects, is shifting its launch date from April 24 to April 17, 2026.
The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam), and notably, the Nintendo Switch 2.
Along with the updated timeline, Capcom released a brand-new trailer that gives us a deeper look at the lunar environment Hugh and Diana will be navigating. The footage showcases the stark, dangerous surface of the moon alongside a lush, greenhouse-like sector located within the lunar station. This contrast between sterile sci-fi architecture and vibrant greenery highlights the “immersion” focus Capcom has been touting for the title.
We also got a look at some of the support systems players will encounter. Inside the “Shelter”—the game’s base of operations—players will meet Cabin, a support robot who manages several station functions. This includes the “Cabin Stamp Club” for rewards and a jukebox where you can swap out the background music as you progress.
Pre-orders are now live, offering the “Neo Bushido” outfit for Hugh and the “Neo Kunoichi” outfit for Diana as bonuses. If you can’t wait until April 17, the PRAGMATA Sketchbook demo is currently available for those who want a taste of the gameplay today.
It’s been a long road for PRAGMATA since its initial reveal years ago, but seeing the date move forward is a great sign that Capcom is finally ready to let this one loose.
