After years of delays and cryptic trailers, Capcom’s mysterious sci-fi venture, Pragmata, has officially blasted past the 2 million units sold mark. Even more impressive? It reached this milestone in a lightning-fast 16 days post-launch.

To celebrate the achievement, Capcom released a charming piece of commemorative artwork featuring the game’s two central protagonists—the enigmatic armored soldier and the young girl, Diana—giving a thumbs-up on a serene beach.

In an industry often dominated by sequels, Pragmata’s success is a major win for original storytelling. Fans have gravitated toward its unique blend of “Dad-core” protection mechanics and mind-bending lunar exploration.

And honestly, with all these failed push on GAAS initiatives, having single styorytelling games like this is a breath of fresh air, hoping the industry would see the demand and start producing more daring gambles and games like this one.
