The renowned studio behind the beautiful Ori series, Moon Studios, unveiled a new, audacious Action RPG ‘No Rest for the Wicked’.

‘No Rest for the Wicked’ is described as a visceral, precision Action RPG, offering a bold new perspective on the genre, as stated by the studio.

In a letter addressed to the fans, Moon Studios revealed that they had been prototyping the idea for this game since 2015. Finally, in 2018, they decided to kick-start the project and turn it into a reality.

No Rest for the Wicked features a fantastic art style as we have seen in the trailer, Moon Stoduis are promising that we will be able to “explore a painting come to life” and  “take in the striking painterly world, meticulously built with an incredible attention to detail in a unique, ageless art style.”

The developer of Ori states that No Rest for the Wicked’s combat will be brutal, percision-based and players will have to hone combat skills with a system that challenges them to be deliberate and strategic. battling against gruesome creatures, enemy soldiers, and punishing bosses in tense, visceral combat. Moon Studios also promise the player will feel the weight and speed of each weapon through their own move sets and will be able enchant armaments with runes, craft rare armor, and create bespoke character builds that fit their playstyle.

No Rest for the Wicked will have an online multiplayer mode where the players can share their world and progress with up to three friends by their side in the campaign’s online co-op mode. Every quest, boss, and square foot traveled is going to be shared in a collaborative mode.

The team aimed to create something inspired by their favorite video games from the early 2000s, resembling Diablo 2, a perfect Action RPG. They didn’t disclose much more information to the fans, except to promise innovative and fresh ideas that they plan to reveal on March 1st, 2024.
