Lies of P Hits 4 Million Sales

The city of Krat is far from finished with us. Following the massive success of last year’s Overture prequel DLC, Neowiz and Round8 Studio have been on an absolute tear. Not only did they just confirm that Lies of P has officially surpassed 4 million copies sold worldwide, but they are already gearing up for the next major content drop.

Teased across their social channels this week, a mysterious “Next Boss Event” is officially scheduled to go live in a new update on March 30, 2026.

While the developers are keeping the exact details under wraps, this new event is expected to build heavily upon the Boss Rematch system (Battle Memories and Death March) that was added late last year. The soulslike community is already buzzing with speculation, hoping to see revamped, ultra-hard “Inner” variants of iconic fights like Romeo, King of Puppets or the Nameless Puppet. If you thought the Overture DLC’s new mechanics and difficulty spikes were punishing, this upcoming event might just test your perfect guard timing like never before.

With the Lies of P sequel now in full production and Neowiz expanding its reach with several other unannounced titles, it is great to see Round8 Studio continuing to actively support the game that put them on the map.

Make sure your Legion Arms are upgraded and your Ergo is spent—we are heading back into the boss arenas next week!
