Bandai Namco, through the Tales of Arise Twitter account, announced a new set of freshly written Tales of Arise short novels that will be released to the public before the launch of the major expansion, Beyond The Dawn.

There will be three short novels released sequentially on November 3rd, 5th, and 8th. These novels will serve as a bridge between the main game and the beginning of the expansion where you get to know about what the cast have been doing right after the event of the original game.

Each novel will feature a special art piece and a pair of characters with a title hinting at the theme of ‘change’ these characters went through:

    – Rinwell & Law: ‘Those who never change‘
    – Kisara & Dohalim: ‘Those who can change‘
    – Shionne & Alphen: ‘Those who want to change‘

Tales of Arise novels will be released through Tales of Series Channel+ with an English version available at Bandai Namco Europe official website.

‘Beyond The Dawn‘ is the new expansion of the highly acclaimed RPG Tales of Arise and the winner of RPG of The Year award. The expansion will feature more than 20 hours of content, with the introduction of new dungeons, quests, and costumes, and will be released worldwide on November 9, 2023, for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99/3,600 Yen on Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Steam.

‘Byond The Dawn’ will take you to explore a new struggle in the aftermath of wars and conflicts. Places you one year after the original game, Alphen and Shionne, who symbolize the possibility of a united front, embark on an adventure to try and ease the conflict. In their quest to unite the population, they stumble upon Nazamil, a young girl who the Dahnans are chasing, claiming she is the daughter of one of the Lords who caused them so much agony in the past.
